Somethin For The Ladies...

Being the ammature blogger than I am, full of angst and anger and wine and love for my nephews and yearning for kids of my own...I've taken to following TWO mama blogs that I check in with almost on a regular basis.

We'll start with Drea.  And Margo.  And their dog Jerry.

I don't know what drew me to this blog in the first place nor what kept me here, because she's a vegan/animal loving/tree hugging/weird-o that I usually wouldn't give two cents about...but she's the one blog I check every day.  She is so honest in her posts...her daughter is gorgeous...and they live in Florida which is much more glam than Minnesota. (minus the gators...ugh)  I've been reading Drea's blog for about a year and a half...I've copied MOST of her recipes, I've followed her stories and her ups and downs...even thought I'm not a mama myself (yet) I find the greatest satisfaction in reading about these two...I feel Drea's heartache...I feel her love for her bebe...Drea does a wonderful job at keeping up with the vegan lifestyle when it would be so much easier to fall into the convenience that is our modern lifestyle.  I have learned so much from reading her blog, just about healthy eating.  I hope she continues to give us insights into her life with her beautiful little girl, I can't wait to watch her grow!  Drea is a few years younger than me but so much more wiser beyond her years.  She's truly amazing.

My SECOND FAVE is about Sarah and Rich who live in the East coast...I think they are roughly my age...raising triplet girls, one with spina biffida.    The girls are beautiful blonde princesses and their mom does an amazing job photographing their every day life and capturing the girls' personalities.

The first thing I noticed about this blog is that Sarah doesn't treat her girls any different than the others!  Allie and Emily are perfectly normal and Anna is the one with spina biffida and she has her issues.  But it's something that the entire family has grown to  live with and adapt to; the two girls know that their sister is a little bit different but that's where it ends.  They don't treat her any differently and she's encouraged to join in their every day activities and I love it.  These girls are a welcome treat, a sisterhood that I can't WAIT to see blosom into something greater and more amazing!

These wonderful people are the reason I keep reading and keep blogging every single day...please give these ladies a try.  I love them!
